Designer Bathroom on a Low Budget

Hello and thank you for taking the time to come from Pinterest and check out our blog!

Today I will be going over all the products we used when designing our bath. This Bathroom was fully remodeled for just under $2000.

Generally, one of the most expensive parts of remodeling your bathroom is purchasing a vanity. We opted to go with an all white, Carrera marble top vanity. The vanity is a 45" Allen & Roth Hanover purchase from Lowes. At the price of $599 we couldn't go wrong. This is a high quality unit, it has soft closers, and is very sturdy!

When we buy our sink faucet and shower valve we like to have them match. They are both Kohler Stainless Steel Linwood. The sink faucet was around $160 and the shower valve/trim was $180.

The toilet is a Kohler comfort height round bowl Cimmaron. This can be purchased at home depot for $180.

If you like the idea of Wainscoting you should definitely consider installing it! It doesn't have to be real wood to look good! We used MDF Wainscoting which is an engineered wood and it is like 1/2 the price of wood. You can buy this at any home improvement store. Our size bathroom cost about $150. It really gives the bathroom a nice beachy feel!

Our tile was Style Selections grey 6"x24" purchased from Lowes. We opted to use both the same tile in the shower and the bathroom floor. It made the bathroom seem large! As you can see by my picture we laid the tiles out dry first to make sure we like the design! I suggest you do the same thing to get an idea, and see where your cuts will fall! The total tile cost was $500.

Our tub was a curved 60" American Standard with right hand drain. This was purchased at Lowes for $240. It is a 17" deep tub which provides ample depth for soaking. Also, the curved from gives the shower a much larger feel! Any questions, comments, or concerns? Feel free to reach out to me!
